These terms and conditions apply to every order placed with AurumX and to every buyback request submitted through aurumx.nl. By placing an order or submitting a sell request you accept these terms.<\/p>

1. Who we are<\/h3>

AurumX\u00ae is a registered EU trade mark (EUTM 019317739). AurumX is a trade name of defardel<\/strong>, Oude Singel 2A, 3421 EE Oudewater, the Netherlands \u00b7 KVK 92056652 \u00b7 BTW NL004934208B62 \u00b7 e-mail: info@aurumx.nl. Office: Metaalbewerkerweg 21, 1032 KW Amsterdam (by appointment only).<\/p>

2. Products and prices<\/h3>

We sell investment-grade gold bars (999.9 fine) from LBMA-accredited refiners. Prices on the site follow the live gold spot price and are refreshed continuously; the price you pay is the price shown at the moment your order is confirmed. Obvious pricing errors (for example caused by a failure of the price feed) do not bind us; in that case we will contact you before processing the order. Investment gold is exempt from Dutch VAT (BTW vrijgesteld \u2014 art. 28j\u201328p Wet op de omzetbelasting 1968; EU VAT Directive 2006\/112\/EC art. 344\u2013356). Prices shown are final; no VAT is added.<\/p>

3. Payment<\/h3>

Orders must be paid with the payment methods offered at checkout. An order is only final once payment has been received in full. If payment is not received within the term stated at checkout, we may cancel the order.<\/p>

4. Delivery<\/h3>

We ship fully insured within the Netherlands via PostNL, DHL or UPS. Expected delivery after payment is 1\u20134 days for bars in stock and 1\u20134 weeks for bars ordered from the refiner; the delivery time is shown on every product. A signature by an adult is required on delivery; the risk passes to you at that moment. Collection in Amsterdam by appointment is also possible. See our Delivery<\/a> page for details.<\/p>

5. No right of withdrawal (important)<\/h3>

Under EU and Dutch consumer law (Directive 2011\/83\/EU, art. 16(b)), the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply<\/strong> to goods whose price depends on fluctuations in the financial market beyond the control of the trader. Gold bullion falls under this exception. All sales of gold bars are therefore final. Instead, AurumX offers a lifetime buyback guarantee<\/a>: we will always repurchase bars originally sold by AurumX at a transparent, spot-based price.<\/p>

6. Buyback<\/h3>

Buyback requests are governed by the conditions on the Buyback Guarantee<\/a> page, which forms part of these terms.<\/p>

7. Identification (Wwft)<\/h3>

As a trader in precious metals we are subject to the Dutch anti-money-laundering act (Wwft). We may ask you to provide a copy of a valid identity document before completing a purchase or buyback, and we are legally required to do so above certain transaction values. Payments must be made from a bank account in the name of the person placing the order; payments from third-party accounts may be refused or refunded. For orders of \u20ac 10.000 or more we always verify your identity before shipment. Orders may be cancelled and refunded if identification is not provided when required.<\/p>

8. Liability<\/h3>

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the order concerned. We are not liable for losses caused by movements in the gold price. Nothing on this website is investment advice.<\/p>

9. Applicable law<\/h3>

Dutch law applies. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands. The European ODR platform is available at ec.europa.eu\/consumers\/odr<\/a>.<\/p>
