Because gold is a financial-market product, returns work differently than in a normal webshop. This page explains your options.

Under EU and Dutch consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU, art. 16(b)), the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to goods whose price depends on financial-market fluctuations beyond the control of the trader. Gold bullion falls under this exception, so all sales of gold bars are final and cannot be cancelled or returned for a refund.
You are never stuck with your gold. AurumX guarantees to repurchase every bar it has sold, at any time, at a transparent price based on the live gold spot price. See the Buyback Guarantee page or start directly at Sell Your Gold.
Check your parcel on arrival. If the seal is broken, the parcel is damaged, or the contents do not match your order, contact me within 48 hours at info@aurumx.nl with photos of the parcel and its contents. Shipments are insured by AurumX until signature, and we will resolve verified issues with a replacement or a full refund.
If we cancel an order (for example because payment or required identification was not completed, or due to an obvious pricing error), any amount already paid is refunded to the account it was paid from within 5 business days.
Last updated: 31 August 2026.

Omdat goud een product van de financiële markt is, werkt retourneren anders dan in een gewone webshop.
