Umicore is a Belgian materials and precious-metals group whose refining operations in Hoboken, near Antwerp, rank among the largest precious-metals recycling facilities in the world. Its gold has carried LBMA Good Delivery status since 1930.
Cast (poured) bars are made by pouring molten 999.9 fine gold into a mould, which gives every bar its characteristic matte, slightly individual finish — and the lowest premium per gram in the range. Umicore cast bars from 250 g upwards carry an engraved serial number.
Available from 100 g up to the 12.5 kg bar in the classic Good Delivery format.
