Compliance
As a trader in precious metals, AurumX operates under the Dutch anti-money-laundering act (Wwft): I verify the identity of my customers where the law requires it, both when buying and when selling gold. Investment gold is exempt from Dutch VAT (BTW vrijgesteld, art. 28j–28p Wet op de omzetbelasting 1968). Payouts are made exclusively by bank transfer to an account in the customer's own name — never in cash.
Upcoming services
Some AurumX features — such as My Vault (buying gold by the gram) and buyback of bars purchased elsewhere — are marked coming soon. I activate services of this kind only once I am satisfied that all applicable Dutch legal and regulatory requirements are met, including — where required — authorisation from the Autoriteit Financiële Markten (AFM). Until then these features stay visible but inactive: I would rather launch late than launch wrong.
