AurumX Buyback Guarantee

AurumX guarantees to buy back every gold bar originally sold by AurumX, at any time, at a transparent price based on the live gold spot price. The conditions below apply.

What I buy back

• AurumX bars only. The guarantee applies to bars purchased from AurumX, matched to your AurumX order number. You can sell up to the quantity on that order.
• Bars bought elsewhere — coming soon. I am preparing in-house authenticity testing for bars from other dealers. Leave your email on the Sell page and I will notify you when this opens.
• Condition. Bars must be returned in their original sealed packaging. Unsealed, damaged or altered items are assessed individually and may receive a reduced offer.

How it works

1. Add to your sell list. Use the Sell button on any product, or go to Sell gold.
2. Verify your order. Enter your AurumX order number and the email address used for that order.
3. See your live price. My buyback price follows the live gold spot price minus a published margin. The quote refreshes every 5 minutes while you review it.
4. Submit your request. The moment you submit, your price is locked. You receive a reference number (SR-…) and a confirmation email.
5. Deliver the bars. Choose insured shipping — I email you a free, prepaid, insured DHL or UPS label — or drop-off in Amsterdam by appointment.
6. Verification & payment. After I receive and verify the bars, I pay by bank transfer to an account in your own name within 1–2 business days. Cash payments are not possible.

Conditions

• Identification. A copy of a valid ID and a bank account in the seller's own name are required for every buyback, in line with Dutch anti-money-laundering regulations (Wwft). ID copies are stored securely and used only for this purpose.
• Price lock. The locked price applies to the bars submitted, provided they reach me within 7 days of the request and match the order. Bars that arrive later or differ from the request are re-quoted at the current price after I contact you.
• Shipping risk. Parcels sent with my prepaid DHL or UPS label are insured by AurumX. If you use your own shipping method, the bars remain your responsibility until I sign for them.
• Refusal. AurumX reserves the right to refuse items that cannot be verified as authentic or as originally sold by AurumX. Refused items are returned to you at cost.
